Movie Music Videos

Ahhh, Hollywood…bringing us some terrific songs.

– From Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: The Secret of the Ooze; “Ninja Rap” by Vanilla Ice

– From Ferris Bueller’s Day Off; Parade Megamix

– From Back to the Future; Johnny Be Goode by Chuck Berry

– Here are TWO from the vastly-underrated Beetlejuice, both by Harry Belafonte…”Day-O” and “Jump in the Line”

– From Anchorman; “Afternoon Delight” by the Starland Vocal Band

And let’s wrap it up with this one!

– From Office Space; “Damn It Feels Good to Be a Gangsta” (potentially offensive language)

Who’s Still Getting It Done?

A few weeks ago, we profiled how absolutely HOT Diane Lane is, even after many years in the spotlight.

So here is my collection of Who Still Gets It Done (in no particular order):

And we can’t forget the inspiration for this post…

Diane Lane!

Diane Lane – Who’s Been Hotter Longer?

Is there anyone on the planet who as been as hot as Diane Lane for as long a period of time?

Coming soon will be a Long-Term Hot Countdown, and Diane is currently in the lead!

Music of Baseball

Baseball is back, and there are some distinct songs that get you (or at least me) thinking of the diamond. One per inning, of course!

– Pre-Game

– First Innning

– Second Inning

– Third Inning (OK, there are a ton of “Talkin’ Baseball” versions out there…this is my favorite)

– Fourth Inning

– Fifth Inning

– Sixth Inning

– Seventh Inning Stretch (Baltimore Tradition!)

– Eighth Inning

– Ninth Inning (Like there is any other way to end this??)

Enjoy the season!

You’re So Money… (The Swingers Post)

Perhaps one of the best scenes in one of the best movies (Swingers) of our generation…

Bad man.

Ultimate 1980s Cartoon Themes

OK, in honor of President’s Day here in the US, I’ve decided to do something unprecedented: I am finding my Top 10 80s Child Cartoon theme songs (Note: not all of these shows aired exclusively in the 1980s, but they are shows “children of the ’80s” will always cherish).  Also, please note, this is a personal list, so girly favorites may not be included.  Feel free to ream me out about how My Little Pony had the best theme.  Confession: Five-year-old me had quite a crush on Jem:

Ok, now on with the list!
